Meet the Author/Playwright:

Mark Frank is enjoying being the Coordinator of Theatre/Associate Professor at Tulsa Community College since 2013 after spending the last 19 years at Coffeyville Community College. In 2002 Mark became a published playwright having published A Collection of Plays by Mark Frank Volume I, Volume II in 2006, and Volume III in 2009. His plays have been produced in Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New York. He also has written a children's book called The Adventures of Princess Atlantis Part 3-4 and also a musical based on the same name.  He is currently teaching Scriptwriting I and II at TCC and presenting Writers Alternative Trial Theatre (WATT FESTIVAL) for a third year.  He is recently wrote a musical , Jumpin Jacks which features the music of Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell and  just completed, A Purfect Life  3: Jasper's Homecoming,  He latest play is Vampires of the Wild West (A parody) which he will produce at Tulsa Community College in October 2022. He is also working on children books for ages 5-6 which include, The Lost Princess and Harry the Hosta with illustrations.

The Adventures of Princess Atlantis Part 3-4

Follow the adventures of young Atlantis Sinclair as she discovers she's a lost princess of a faraway land, and is whisked away by a magical balloon named Ms. Poppit to the Enchanted Lands of Deep Earth. There she meets Everyone, a feisty fairy, Joe, the gentle giant, Pink, the fastest unicorn on the planet, and Smoke, a tiny dragon.

Together, they all try to save the Enchanted Lands from the evil Spider King and Queen Lake, who want to take over the entire Earth with their powerful Sword of Darkness.

A new, fresh children's story filled with magical adventure that speaks about friendships, believing in yourself, affection, jealousy, treachery, life, death, and the importance of a child having a loving forever family through foster care and adoption.

A Collection of Plays by Mark Frank takes the reader on many wild journeys. In Bend, a woman, who is rejected as a playwright, seeks her revenge as she drives to New York to blow up a publishing building. The four strangers she picks up on the way will change her life forever. In Hotel 5, we meet an attendant who is starting his first day of work at a luxury hotel only to run into a series of bizarre people. It gets even more interesting when he encounters a talking jalapeno pepper, and a talking sock puppet that tries to kill him. I, Figaro!, is the story of a man who thinks he's the popular character, Figaro from the opera, The Marriage of Figaro. A Purrfect Life is a play about the life of two cats and their adventures during the day. He's Harry, But Aren't We All? is about Harry whose boss calls him into the office to tell him the same thing over and over again. In Torn, a young girl tries to say goodbye to her father at his funeral while burying a troubled past they have had together.

A Collection of Plays by Mark Frank: Volume II introduces seven new plays by playwright Mark Frank. In the powerful drama No-Code, Matt Mitchell enters the cruel world of nursing homes. In the comedy, Greek Soup, we meet famous tragic characters from Greek literature as they all work together to save their restaurant in Athens, New York, from being shut down by the Health Inspector. In the comedy Just Being Barry White, Gunther Heimleck, has the spirit of Barry White enter his body to sweep the girl of his dreams off her feet. In the drama, The Color of Slumber, Logan must try to escape the dream he is trapped in by the mysterious “her” and fight off the evil Mr. Shroud. In the one-act drama, The War Chest, a young girl falls into her grandfather’s war chest and finds herself in Germany, World War II during the Jewish Holocaust. In the one-act comedy, Remember the Audience we find out what happens when the audience creates a play on the spot. In the one-act comedy, Life, Cigarettes and the Great, Great Beyond we join Hitler, Jesus, and Elvis for a smoke and conversation in the great beyond.

A Collection of Plays by Mark Frank Volume III introduces ten new plays by playwright Mark Frank. In the hilarious comedy, I Swear by the Eyes of Oedipus! we  find Oedipus' great, great, great, great, ....(Well you get the point) grandson who tries to come to terms with the prophecy that he will sleep with his mother and kill his father.  In Hurricane  Iphigenia: Category 5 Tragedy in Darfar we are taken to the Sudan region in Africa by the Greek princess, Iphigenia. Can she save the two million displaced Christian Africans hunted by the Islamic Janjaweed? In The Rainy Trails we go on a spiritual Native American journey with young Rainy trying to tackle racism. In Troubles Revenge which is a sequel to the 2006 play A Purrfect Life. In this play Tiger the cat has died leaving Trouble who is now 21 dealing with life alone once Mommy has adopted a child.  Humpty Dumpty, the musical is a clever hilarious mockery of the actor Christian Bale famous rant on the set of Terminator Salvation. The rant is used as Humpty Dumpty is trying to stage a musical. In the dark drama Iphigenia Rising, Iphigenia, the Greek princess is at odds with her brother Orestes and sister Electra on the death of their three parents, Agamemnon, Clytamenstra and Aegistius. In the Rock of Troy, Homer's Iliad is revisitedwith all twenty-four books translated with no dialogue, only action and classical rock music from the seventies and eighties. Other plays include the Land of Never, The Mahmudiyah Incident,  and A Christmas Musical.
